Vice Versa's Valentino Longo Named Among North America's Best, Launches Fort Lauderdale Residency

Brickell / Fort Lauderdale Beach, Miami · February 1, 2026

A story about Vice Versa / Valentino Longo

Valentino Longo, founder of Miami's acclaimed Vice Versa bar, continues to stack accolades—and now he's bringing his magic up the coast.

Vice Versa has been named one of North America's Best Bars by the prestigious World's 50 Best Bars list, adding to its James Beard Award finalist recognition. Now, Longo has launched an exclusive pop-up residency at the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale, running through May 2026.

"Miami has been so good to us," Longo said. "Vice Versa started as a dream to bring authentic Italian aperitivo culture to South Florida. To be recognized among North America's best bars—it's humbling and motivating."

The Italian-born bartender has become one of Miami's most influential figures in the cocktail world. His aperitivo-style drinks, featuring effervescence, bitter, savory, and citrus components, have redefined what Miami drinkers expect from a night out.

At the Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale residency, guests can expect both classics from Vice Versa's repertoire and new creations masterfully led by bartender Rosy Villanova.

"Rosy is incredibly talented," Longo noted. "She's bringing her own perspective while staying true to what makes Vice Versa special. It's a collaboration that I'm really proud of."

Longo has also been creating cocktail programs for other Miami establishments, including the newly opened Torno Subito in the Design District, where his aperitivo expertise complements Chef Massimo Bottura's Italian cuisine.

The Fort Lauderdale pop-up is located at 525 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd. Vice Versa's original Miami location continues to operate in Brickell, where it remains one of the city's most sought-after reservations.

"We're just getting started," Longo promised. "The goal has always been to elevate the bar experience in South Florida, and there's so much more to come."
