New York City's beloved plant-based Mexican restaurant has officially arrived in Miami. JaJaJa Mexicana has opened its doors at 2775 NW Third Avenue in Wynwood, bringing its celebrated menu of rich, flavorful dishes to South Florida.
The restaurant offers everything you'd expect from authentic Mexican cuisine—pozole, barbacoa, chorizo, and birria—with one twist: it's all plant-based and seed oil-free.
"Miami has such a vibrant Latin food scene, and we wanted to show that plant-based eating can be just as flavorful and satisfying," said JaJaJa's team. "We're not trying to replace traditional Mexican food—we're celebrating it in a new way."
The menu creatively uses squash, mushrooms, cabbage, and other vegetables to create colorful, memorable meals. Longtime fans of the NYC location say the only thing you'll forget is that there's no meat on your plate.
The Wynwood location marks JaJaJa's first expansion outside of New York, a testament to Miami's growing appetite for innovative, health-conscious dining options that don't sacrifice flavor.
"We chose Wynwood because it's a neighborhood that embraces creativity and new ideas," the team explained. "The art, the energy, the people—it felt like the perfect place for JaJaJa's Miami debut."
The restaurant's arrival comes as plant-based dining continues to gain mainstream acceptance. Rather than targeting only vegetarians and vegans, JaJaJa aims to appeal to anyone who appreciates great Mexican food.
"Our regulars in New York include plenty of meat-eaters," the team noted. "They come because the food is delicious, full stop. The fact that it happens to be plant-based is almost secondary."
JaJaJa Mexicana Wynwood is now open for lunch and dinner. The restaurant accepts reservations and walk-ins at their Third Avenue location.
